Overview

Attorney Noboru Shigami (Hitoshi Ozawa), known by the nickname “The Courtroom Reaper,” once served as legal counsel to a yakuza organization. Shigami is asked by Seigo Kishi (Shinzo Hotta), the first chairman of the Kishi-gumi, to defend Shinya Narumi (Masataka Fujishige), the wakagashira of the second-generation Kishi-gumi, who is currently undergoing mediation. Heading to court underprepared, Shigami faces prosecutor Mika Akiyama (Nagiko Tsuji). During the proceedings, he senses something off about Narumi’s testimony.
