Overview

Following a difficult divorce, Ladawan, a Thai interpreter in California, finds the strength to continue her career with the help of her vibrant colleague Stefani and a supportive new acquaintance, Nicholas. The film follows her through high-stakes legal and medical cases, weaving together the lives of four Thai individuals: Ananya, facing an attempted murder trial; Noot, caught in a trafficking case; Daranee, battling cancer; and Sommai, a Muay Thai coach surviving a tragic crash. It is an intense, heartfelt look at the vital role of communication in life’s most critical moments.
