Ku Cari Jannah

Overview

Jannah, a village girl with a STPM qualification who has high ambitions to pursue university studies. Jannah is friends with Rizarul, the village chief's son. Rizarul proposes to Jannah, but she rejects his proposal. Unable to accept his rejection, Rizarul persuades Jannah's mother by increasing the bride price to RM20 thousand. Blinded by the RM20 thousand bride price, Jannah's mother agrees, and even suggests that they proceed directly to marriage without an engagement ceremony first. Jannah is falsely accused of incest and is driven out by her mother. From then on, Jannah learns to live independently until she returns to the village as a successful headscarf entrepreneur.
