Overview

# One Night Bride The story revolves around Zulaikha (Amelia Henderson) who is trapped between saving her mother's life or her own dignity. Misfortune befalls Zulaikha when she is forced to quit her job because of her employer's indecent behavior. Her boyfriend Adli chooses to end their relationship, and her mother is ill and requires expensive medical treatment. Meanwhile, Zahred (Nazim Othman) hates women after his love was betrayed. Zahred is devastated after discovering that his girlfriend Balqis cheated on him by becoming his father's second wife while he was in Japan. Zahred also hates his father for betraying him by taking away his girlfriend. Since then, Zahred has distanced himself and refuses to speak to his father anymore. Dato Haris (Edika Yusof), Zahred's father, is indeed a notorious playboy who is always seeking beautiful women. Zahred's mother, Datin Roziah (Norish Karman), can only suffer in silence due to her husband's behavior.
