One of the most family-friendly Spider-Man films. Energetic and emotional, but generally suitable for school-age kids who are okay with cartoon action.
Miles Morales becomes a new Spider-Man and teams with heroes from other dimensions. The animation is bold and fast, the humor lands for kids and adults, and the heart of the story is about believing in yourself when you feel out of place.
Animated action includes punches, web fights, and a few intense villain beats. Stylized comic-book visuals keep it from feeling realistic or gory. Some peril—characters in danger, a major loss—may affect sensitive viewers despite the cartoon look.
Light teasing and a small amount of mild language. Most dialogue is playful and age-appropriate for elementary-school kids and up.
Kingpin and some dimension-glitch effects can look unsettling. A few loud, fast-cut action sequences might overwhelm very young children. Overall scariness is lower than live-action superhero films.
None beyond innocent teen crush vibes and wholesome family moments.
No meaningful focus on drugs, alcohol, or smoking.
Celebrates teamwork, mentorship, diversity, and the idea that anyone can wear the mask. Miles learns that being different is a strength. Excellent for conversations about confidence, family support, and trying again after failure.
