A thrilling but emotionally heavy superhero film. Fine for most tweens and teens; younger or sensitive kids may need guidance through sad moments and intense action.
Peter Parker asks Doctor Strange to make the world forget he is Spider-Man, but the spell goes wrong and pulls villains—and other Spider-Men—from across the multiverse. It is exciting and funny in places, but also deals with loss, sacrifice, and goodbye scenes that hit hard.
Frequent superhero action: fistfights, web battles, falls from heights, explosions, and weapons like Green Goblin's devices. Violence is stylized rather than bloody, but the pace is intense and some villain attacks feel personal. The final act is especially chaotic.
Mild to moderate language typical of PG-13 blockbusters: occasional stronger words and snappy insults during fights. Nothing sustained or extreme, but school-age kids will hear it.
Several villains are visually frightening, especially Green Goblin and Doc Ock. Jump-adjacent surprises, dark lighting, and a sense that Peter's world is unraveling create real tension. The emotional ending may upset kids more than any monster scene.
Very light. Brief romance between Peter and MJ, hand-holding, and a few kisses. No nudity or sexual storylines.
Minimal. Background social settings may include drinking. Villain scenes focus on power and revenge, not drugs.
Strong messages about responsibility, sacrifice, and putting others first. The film shows that hard choices have consequences and that heroism often costs something real. Great for talking about empathy, friendship, and what 'growing up' can mean.
